A sales tax exemption certificate can be used by businesses (or in some cases, individuals) who are making purchases that are exempt from the Tennessee sales tax. This form can be used across state lines to purchase goods using a tax-exempt status. Present this completed document to a seller at the time you are purchasing your goods. It will qualify you for tax-free goods. Sellers are advised to keep this form for their records.
